UX Design
This section showcases my UX and design work, focusing on improving usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. Through research, analysis, and iterative design, I identify challenges within existing products and develop user-centered solutions. My work includes redesign projects and visual design portfolios created using tools such as Microsoft Word, Canva, and Adobe InDesign. These projects demonstrate my ability to think critically about design, apply user feedback, and create more intuitive and effective digital and physical experiences.
Discord Mobile Application Redesign
This project focuses on improving the usability and navigation of the Discord mobile application for both new and experienced users. Conducted for a UX-focused course, I used methods such as personal analysis, artifact analysis, and the RITE method to identify key issues, including small font sizes, unclear navigation, and difficult-to-find features. Using Microsoft Word to develop and present my research, I created sketches and digital prototypes that improved accessibility, visibility, and overall user flow. The result is a more intuitive and user-friendly interface that better supports user needs. This project demonstrates my ability to conduct user research, analyze usability issues, and create thoughtful, iterative design solutions.
Polaroid (Instax Mini SE) User Manual
This project involves the design and creation of a user manual for the Fujifilm Instax Mini SE instant camera, intended for new users with little to no prior experience. The purpose of this project was to improve how instructions are communicated through clear organization, visuals, and step-by-step guidance. Created using Canva, the manual includes sections such as battery installation, film loading, camera usage, and maintenance, supported by labeled images and visual cues. The result is an accessible and easy-to-follow instructional guide that enhances user understanding and reduces confusion. This project demonstrates my ability to design user-centered documentation and combine visuals with written instructions effectively.
Everyday Product Design Portfolio
This design portfolio explores the features and functionality of everyday products through a user-centered lens. Created using Adobe InDesign, the project analyzes items such as an instant camera, phone case, shower head, and personal care products, focusing on how design choices impact usability, comfort, and effectiveness. Each item is evaluated based on its purpose, design features, and how it meets user needs in real-life contexts. The result is a visually organized and cohesive portfolio that highlights both aesthetic and functional design considerations. This project demonstrates my ability to think critically about product design and present information visually and effectively.
